Here's a book club designed for the whole family! Pick up the book at the Circulation Desk, read it together, and then come to the library to talk about it and do fun activities. Registration with a CLPL card is required.

The Crystal Lake Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a meeting to conduct essential business.

As weather permits, we will walk the neighborhood around CLPL and talk all things books. 

Registration suggested.

Crochet easy cat toys for a feline you know or for cats and kittens in area shelters. You'll need to have basic crochet knowledge and bring your own hook. Size 5mm recommended but other sizes are welcome, too.

This isn't your typical book club! There's no assigned reading, no discussion to prepare for.

Join us for a screening of 2020's "Emma." Runtime: 124 minutes. Rated PG.

Bring the family and enjoy a story time together. Be ready to dance, sing and enjoy a story! Registration is required. 

Students in grades 6-12 can come and use the library’s Meta Quest 2 VR Headset, Nintendo Switch, or play a tabletop board game, while hanging with other teens. Snacks will be provided. Stay for a little while or the whole time.

The Crystal Lake Public Library will have a rock painting craft at this fun and educational event!  This drop-in program will also include historic jewelry demos, break open geodes, lapidary art, mining, and archeology during the 1800s.

The Committee of the Whole of the Board of Library Trustees of the City of Crystal Lake will be holding an in person meeting at the library to consider essential business.
