A story time for every little one! Join us for stories, fingerplays, songs, dancing, and more! Suggested for ages Birth - 5 years with a caregiver. Registration with a CLPL card is required. 

Learn to create an Alebrije, a Mexican folklore mythical creature. Alebrijes gained popular exposure in the United States with the Disney film "CoCo." Registration with a CLPL card is required.

Trade in your gently used games or puzzles for something new to you. Items may be brought to the Youth or Adult Services desks from Jan. 18-24 and exchanged for a voucher to redeem on the day of the event.

Grab your baby and get ready to race! We will race until we find the fastest baby in Crystal Lake. All racing babies must be able to crawl to participate. Registration with a CLPL card is required.

Stop by Youth Services for a surprise hands-on activity. We'll have a different activity each week including crafts, games, building, robots, and more! This is a drop-in program, no registration is required.

For International Holocaust Remembrance Day, CLPL is honored to welcome Holocaust Survivor Steen Metz, who was only 8 years old when his parents and he were arrested and deported to Theresienstadt Concentration Camp from Odense, Denmark in October
