Join author Nick Medina for a "Behind the Book" discussion about his new thriller Sisters of the Lost Nation, about a Native American girl who hunts for answers when girls begin to go missing from her tribe's reservation. Nick will share stories about how the book came to be, what influenced and inspired various elements of the book, his experiences within the publishing industry, and the epidemic of Native and Indigenous women and girls going missing. Named a Best Book of 2023 (So Far) by Barnes and Noble and Amazon Editor’s Pick. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Presented in partnership with Algonquin Area District Public Library, Cary Area Public Library, and Huntley Area Public Library.
